I am a single parent who works full time to provide for my two children despite my health issues. I have undeegone two lots of major surgery in the last 10 weeks my daughter Amelia has been my main carer and helped with her younger brother. At 13 she does so much for me she is registered as a young carer.

Amelia made a successful application to be allocated a place on cumbria schools trip to Taiwan next year. Each child has to fund the trip themselves through parents or fundraising. Whilst I would love to be able to pay for this trip myself I am unable to as only just make ends meet despite working full time. Amelia has other ideas to raise money as well but until im recovered from this surgery she is unable to do these with her caring responsibilities and school work. She has also tried to get a little job with no success but is wiliing to do any jobs people may have, she has lovely handwriting so if you don’t fancy writing your christmas cards give her a shout.

Any contribution towards Amelia”s fundraising for this trip would be gratefully received.
