Story

Id like to tell you a little bit about our wonderful friend Laura! Laura’s mum was diagnosed with early onset dementia and alzimers when she was just 62 - as we all know too well, dementia and alzimers can be so debilitating and as time has gone Laura’s poor mums condition has gotten worse. Not only does Laura work full time (7days a week) her evenings are spent caring for her mum, who most days doesnt even know that she has a daughter! Its heartbreaking!

Being the amazingly caring and thoughtful girl she is, Laura doesnt just stop there - she also volunteers an evening a week to support other individuals with dementia at a charity called Freshers Early Onset Cafe.

Now this is where we come in - this very new charity needs our help. Like most charities they rely on donations to ensure they support their friends as best as they possibly can. Their first fundraising event is in September and today we have riden 60 miles from Manchester to Blackpool to kick start their funding!! We would absolutely love to be able to give Laura some cash to keep this charity going and to say thank you for not only helping and supporting her mum but for helping and supporting the wider dementia community, giving them quality of life, a friend to talk to and a place to go!!

Please donate as much as you can for this fantastic charity!! 60 miles is a very long way and we have a very sore bums haha but we’re hoping we can make it all worthwile by getting some mega money for Freshers Early Onset Cafe!

Much Love

Natasha :)
