Cancer sucks.. FACT! But it effects us all at some point in our lives, e it yourself or a family member or friend that suffers. McMillan nurses are on hand to ease this terrible time in people's lives. Myself and a few of the AirBound girls have watched family members suffer and be taken by the big C and would love to give back to the people that helped through the terrible time.

One of my top AirBound girls works in the renal children's ward in Bristol. This is a ward that look after babies right through to teenagers, primarily looking after people with kidney problems. Often the children on the ward are recovering from kidney transplant, but some of the children have kidneys that no longer function and are hooked up to machines for hours on end while the machine does the work that the kidney no longer does. Some children have to do this up to 4 times a week. The money raised and sent to this ward will be used to fund medical and play equipment, play time for these kids is important to help pass the time or even keep them relaxed through this very anxious and scary time.

The total amount raised in this page and through our other fundraising activities on the day will be split equally between the 2.
