Story
Dear Supporter,
I started fundraising for stray cats in London around November 2024 and reached my target of £1,000 at the end of January 2025. My heartfelt thanks to you all. As I have just returned from a tour in Egypt, and seen the plight of many animals there up close, I decided to extend past the £1,000 fundraising target and change my goal to now raise money for the animals in Egypt.
Some animals died, others had broken legs or visible wounds. Mostly dogs and cats in the street, left to fend for themselves, but also many donkeys and horses with visible wounds and poor stature needing our urgent help.
I visited a few different charities while there, including Animal Welfare of Luxor https://www.facebook.com/AWOL.Egypt.Charity/ and Egypt Equine Aid. https://www.facebook.com/eea.egypt. On most evenings and during the day, I would feed local dogs and cats in the streets. I also brought supplies to these charities. The situation there is not just important, it is the difference between animals making it or not. Please can you support this cause. All monies go towards the animals.
Through your help I have now managed to support the neutering of about 30 cats from NW11 in London. We are almost complete there with 5-7 cats left to go. I have also helped with transporting a number of cats to different charities and rescues, microchipped and neutered and given medical attention.
I want to help with vet costs for injured strays as well as donate 2 dog traps to local contacts in Luxor.
