    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is the new way to raise money for a personal cause on JustGiving.

    Story

I am going to get my hair cut for charity. For those who dont know I have been growing my hair (from very short) for roughly a year and nine months now, but have been persuaded that it would be put to better use raising money for charity. I have accumulated a rather impressive head of hair with curls that often leave elderly women and children under the age of 5 speechless, so it means a lot to me, but I'm sure it would mean much more to the charity and those it assists. All proceeds will be going to the charity 'Action Against Hunger' as two of my friends are doing the University's Kilimanjaro Challenge. It is a charity that actively fights world hunger in the UK as well as in many coiuntries around the globe!
