Nathan Payas shall be attempting an English channel swim between the 7th and 14th September 2016.

The English Channel is the 21 mile (33.7 km) stretch of water that separates England and France. The channel has become the most iconic swim to tackle in the world.

Swimmers from all over the world travel to attempt this 'Everest' of swimming.

The Calpe House Charitable Trust has helped over 5000 Gibraltar Health Authority sponsored patients’ visits to London. For a Gibraltar patient to be referred to a London hospital can be very daunting. Patients find themselves away from home with fairly serious, in many cases life threatening, illnesses. Calpe House provides a warm, friendly and permanent facility where patients can stay during their treatment in the company of fellow Gibraltarians who are in similar difficult circumstances; a home from home.

The current property has proven too small to accommodate the demand and therefore The Trust have purchased three Grade II listed buildings in Norfolk Square, London, which need to be extensively refurbished at a cost of £6 million.
