Story

Please Help Rylee ❤️

Rylee, aged just 14, from Dowlais RFC, has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 aggressive cancer.

Since receiving this heartbreaking news, our incredible network of kind, caring, generous and supportive people has pulled together to do everything we can to support Rylee and his family through what is an unimaginably distressing time.

We originally set out to raise £3,000 through a bike ride — but what followed has been far beyond anything we could have hoped for.

More than 200 people took part in the bike ride from Merthyr to Cardiff, and that was just the beginning. We have seen people take on a Three Peaks challenge, darts marathon, Pen y Fan climbs and Rugby for Rylee, all with one goal: to show Rylee and his family that they are not alone.

The support has been truly incredible. Sporting personalities from across the UK have backed the cause, including Joe Calzaghe, Bradley Davies, Tony Bellew, Lou Reed and Rhys Webb, alongside rugby clubs, community groups, local businesses, families and individuals from across the region.

What started as a fundraiser linked to one bike ride has become something much bigger — a whole community coming together for Rylee.

This JustGiving page is now the central link for all of the fundraising initiatives and for anyone who would like to show their support.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference to Rylee and his family during this incredibly difficult journey.

If you can't donate, please share this page. Every share helps us reach more people and keep the support for Rylee growing.

Let's continue to show this young man and his family just how much they mean to their community. ❤️

Please donate. Please share. Please support Rylee.

Thank you to every single person who has already given their time, money, energy and support. We truly cannot thank you enough.
