Story

On the 15th/16th August 2019 I will complete the National Three Peaks Challenge in Scotland, England and Wales, respectively. Climbing over 10,000 ft in the space of 24 hours to raise money for Takis to buy a new, larger shelter for the abandoned, sick and injured animals of Crete.

Takis started his non-profit organisation 4 years ago after happening upon an injured dog at a waste site. Since then his house has become the home of over 350 animals he has saved from abandonment, illness and even death. He is in need of a bigger premises to move the sheltered animals to in order to keep carrying out hus good work and even welcome volunteers stay and help.

I had originally chosen another charity for this challenge but after watching Figo’s story on instagram (and so many others including the story of the two stray dogs) my heart melted and I knew if I could help even a small amount then I would be happy.

I am not expecting to move mountains (😂) with this fund raising but please watch Takis stories and I promise your heart will melt too! Please donate even a little amount towards this cause, I can’t stand to see dogs and animals hurt and I hope you can’t either.

Also please wish me luck!
