Raising Money To Fund Better And Cheaper Access To Natural Medicine...
Hi, I am Joanna-Roselyn Maggs, Integrative Health & Yoga Therapist. To find out a little about me, personally, please see my 2 web businesses at
Within my yoga therapy business, I run a Yoga Therapy clinic, a Yogic Counselling service, an Electro-Acupuncture clinic, and a Nutritional Deficiency and Intolerance Testing service using non-invasive hair analysis techniques.
Prior to opening my clinics, I worked for over 20 years within some of the world's best natural supplement manufacturers, advising them on ingredients, legalities of formulation, and building health coaching systems to advise customers on how to resolve their health issues with the use of natural medicine.
As with many natural health services, however, of course supplements had to be paid for. And sadly, much of the time, people simply couldn't afford to purchase what they really needed.
Most supplements are not funded by the NHS, are unavailable on prescription, and are not covered by health insurance companies. This leaves a huge expense if you wish to try to avoid chemical medications. And leaves most people with no choice but to take the less desired chemical route.
It is these problems that I, and my colleagues are now attempting to resolve.
As part of all my other services, and worldwide generally, I advise on supplementation. What to take for various physical and mental health problems. Which brands and dosages work best for that particular circumstance, and so on.
A common problem I come across is that people don't know what to buy, or how to take it to ensure it works. People all too often end up wasting alot of hard earned money on something that isn't ideal for their particular need, or that just isn't of good enough quality to do the job. It is a huge waste of money, unfunded money.
I have acted as a researcher and tester amongst my roles in the industry, and have poured over many studies and papers, and as a result only recommend particular supplements I know to actually work.
This funding is to enable me to set up an online cost-supplemented dispensary and advise line for people's health. With donations to allow us to stock up on needed supplements, that we can then distribute to people that need them the most, without the huge costs associated with direct purchase.
This service will be available UK-wide, and will have a supported live web chat, open for any follow up help needed.
To achieve the full set up of such a service, and to maintain it, we are relying on your donations. Please, please can you help?
Do you wish you didn't have to take meditation from your pharmacy and doctor, but shy away when you see the huge retail prices of good quality supplementation? Do you know someone that would benefit? Do you know someone that is on long-term meditation, usually with side-effects, that may benefit from this service?
Initially we need to raise £10000 to set this up and begin with some stock. The aim from there is to expand further, with more stock availability, and more available online expertise, to enable us to reach as many people as possible around the UK.
This is a private organisation, not a charity. Although if it sets up well and shows promise, we could then consider an application for charity status, if we think it would work that way.
In the meantime, please can you give what you can, so that we can begin to reach the millions of people around the UK that are in need of simple, natural medications, without the awful side effects and long term use of chemical medications. For men, women, seniors, and children UK-wide.
Please give what you can so we can achieve our initial target. Anyone donating will be kept informed of our status, as long as we have email contact details.
This is a much needed service. Please help us to get set up so we can aim to reach and distribute to as many people as we can, UK-wide.
