I've raised £500 to help Richmond residents with wildlife gardening

Nature-Connected Neighbourhoods CIC was formed to help bring people together as community, connecting with one another and with wider nature. Through wildlife gardening we help to create habitat and corridors and so address the climate and Nature crises.
69% of our wildlife has disappeared since 1970. This is sad and important, because our wildlife matters in and of itself. Moreover, we depend on biodiversity for our food, the air that we breathe, clean water and our general physical and mental wellbeing - we need the rest of nature in order to survive. Nature-based solutions account for at least 30% of the solution to climate change and are crucial to helping us deal with the effects. However, currently, through the continuing declines, we are setting ourselves up with an even bigger mountain to climb.
I am the founder of this project, but it is very much for and from our community - human and wild. So it is crucially important that we have wide community involvement and representation in all of our decision making processes.
We need to be present and engaging with people at fairs and events, but for this we need materials like a table, flyers, posters and we need insurance.
