MedGlobal is travelling to Sierra Leone this November to deliver free healthcare in Hospitals and Community clinics. My team of specialists will include Internal Medicine, Family medicine and Surgeons. This country is recovering from the recent Ebola crisis and is listed as one of the poorest countries in the world where 60% live below the poverty line. Maternal and infant mortality is some of the highest in the world and access to free healthcare is still very limited. Our aim to treat 2500 sick patients and provide free surgery for patients who could not afford this level of care and still suffering. We also plan to provide an educational programme alongside our clinical work to help ensure continuity.
