I've raised £50000 to help fund Immunotherapy for Ann

Ann was diagnosed with cancer November 2014, it's one Christmas that we will never forget. It wasn’t the kind of present one expects or hopes for & one most definitely everyone would like to return. Life has never been the same for any of us, in particular Ann. She is someone that lives life to the fullest & always living true to herself.
Ann is now under palliative care & has been denied any further surgery or treatment from the Oncology team treating her, stating that she is too weak to endure any more medical interventions & because they feel that it may cause more harm than good. Unfortunately Ann had been let down far too many times by the NHS by not being diagnosed in a timely fashion, failed opportunities to investigate her symptoms & then staggering treatment when she was re-diagnosed in December 2017.
This Just Giving page is for my heroic sister Ann, who at this time is bedbound due to malnutrition, muscle wastage and by spending 8 weeks and counting in a heavily sedated state in a hospital/hospice bed. She is currently suffering from Stage 4 colorectal cancer; she has multiple obstructions and a tumour in her rectum. At this advanced stage her (metastatic) cancer is incurable, but Immunotherapy can offer hope.
Due to Ann’s particular type of cancer, Ann is currently illegible to join an Immunotherapy trial in this country, so therefore we have decided to seek private treatment abroad, where options may still be available even in Ann’s condition. In the UK Ann’s prognosis is harsh and ultimately an un-timely a death sentence given by the NHS due to the lack of options available. She has been branded terminal But in other countries where options are available Ann’s condition would be treated as advanced & still treatable. Therefore please give as little or as much as you can. All donations will help give Ann a fighting chance.Thank you from my family and I we are deeply grateful for you taking the time to read this, share this & making any contribution.
