Hey guys! On the 25th June, myself and two of my close friends (Amy and Onai) are aiming to hike up Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. I'm raising money for Mahak Charity . I'm doing the 8 day trek and slightly nervous and hoping the altitude doesn't get to me! But otherwise excited for the challenge and experience!

Mahak Charity are a non-governmental and non-profit children's cancer charity based in Tehran. It was set up in 1990 and ever since has been able to grow and in 2003 it was able to set up a Hospital and Rehabilitation centre. As well as providing free treatment for financially disadvantaged children it also helps refugee children (Afghan and Iraqi) with cancer both in and out of refugee camps. I have had a family member use their facilities and have seen first hand how Mahak were able to literally save his life.

I am going to Tehran in August and will personally deliver the donations to their head office. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated! (Plus the exchange rate is pretty good at the moment, so any amount no matter how small really will make a difference!)
