We are a team involved in the National Citizen Service and we are currently fundraising for our social action project, which is the renovation and restoration of The New Adelphi Club, an iconic and integral part of Hull’s culture and history. After listening to the experiences of our friends and families, we wanted to give back to the club for providing decades of enjoyment and musical indulgence. The venue is admired by many and it would be a shame to let the building become run-down and lose some its appeal that has allowed it to continue to thrive for so long. We feel like this project would help preserve its historical and cultural nature, while keeping the memories made there alive, as well as the history of several notorious bands, such as Oasis, Radiohead, and Green Day, which debuted here. The atmosphere radiated from the outside should match the atmosphere felt on the inside, and we will make sure this happens by using the funds raised to buy equipment. We also plan on doing a sponsored walk and other fundraising activities. Please donate anything you can!
