We are Alex, Marc, Tom, Tyler, Shauna, Amy, James, Will, Danielle, Freya, Maya, Cheyenne and Olivia and James. We make up Team 2 of the Tigers Trust NCS programme.

For our social action project we have decided to raise awareness of the issues faced by army veterans such as PTSD, mental health, relationship breakdown, alcohol/substance misuse and homelessness. We also hope to raise some funds to donate to a local charity who support these veterans.

We will be undertaking our activities next week ( w/c 17/7/17). These include a bag pack, a bun sale in Hull city centre, where we will hand out leaflets, a daily vlog of our activities, available on youtube channel NCS Hull Team 2 social action project Tigers trust. We hope to interview some army veterans to understand their struggle.

On Saturday 22nd June, we intend to walk through Hull, in full army uniform, handing out leaflets and collecting donations. We will spend the night sleeping in Hull city centre with limited shelter and provisions in a bid to raise awareness of the issues veterans face.

Please donate to our project and help us to raise funds to support our veterans that are on the streets and that cannot find a way to get out of this dark slump. Our target is £500 please help us reach our goals to aid the veterans.
