Assalaamu ‘alaykum wa rahmat-Ullaahi wa barakaatuhu,

Shaykh Mustafa Raslan used to be the Imaam of our Masjid in Halifax. Shaykh Mustafa and his wife Samia Saad both graduated from Al Azhar University in Egypt. They have both memorized the Holy Quran and are both teachers of the Quran. Additionally, Shaykh Mustafa has memorized all 7 Qira' of the Quran. They have 3 sons Ibrahim (19), Ahmed (16), Abdul Rahman (12) and Fatima (6). All of his sons whilst in Halifax memorized the Holy Quran and they have all benefited us and other communities in UK Allaahumma baarik.

Shaykh Mustafa's 16-year-old son, Ahmad suffered a hit and run car accident in Egypt on Saturday night/Sunday morning. He has sustained severe brain injuries, multiple fractures including serious head & pelvic fractures, collapsed lung and internal injuries resulting in significant internal bleeding. he is currently being cared for in ICU in Egypt.

Alhamduliallah, Allaahumma baarik, Ahmad has since stopped bleeding and is responding to treatment. In order to repatriate him to the UK, and to give him the surgery and care he requires, his parents need to arrange appropriate medical care and transport which will cost in the region of £51,000.

Please note this is Sadaqah only and that Shaykh Mustafa and his family have not asked for this help. We have taken it upon ourselves to help them in their time of need in shaa’ Allah.
