My children and I live in our family home, but as I am unable to remortage on my own after divorce, my soon to be ex husband stayed on the mortgage until I could earn enough to remortgage.... however last year, he has declared himself bankcrupt and the bankruptcy trustee now wants me to sell the house to repay his debts. This debt comes at £15000. I am trying my best to save this by selling my belongings and working, but it is proving difficult and I have realised I need help. I can’t remortgage, I can’t get a loan.... the only option at the minute is selling the house... which would leave me and the children homeless as to find deposits and a landlord that would take a single, part time working mum is proving impossible. I have approached citizens advice, stepchange charity but as my last resort, I am hoping that your kind donations would help me keep the house where my children have grown up and help me through this stressful time. Please, please help me if you can, all I want is for my children to have a happy childhood with the security of a home.... and even £1 would be a pound closer to saving our home.
