I am volunteering at a rural community hospital in the Gujarat, India which provides free medical care to all. I will be going out for 3 weeks in January/February 2025 with a team of acupuncturists offering free treatment to the community.

This World Medicine/Health Aid project is self-funded, with volunteers fundraising for their own flights, food, and accommodation. Equipment is funded by World Medicine and is sponsored by UK suppliers and donations.

This project is very close to my heart, and indeed , a primary motive for studying and practising Chinese medicine and acupuncture - to be able to provide relief and aid in health recovery for those who do not have access to and/or cannot afford such care. I am thrilled and humbled to be able to be a part of this.
