Neighbourhood Farm is a project based in the area south of Cape Town where local urban people are re-connected to the food they eat through a series of market gardens. Organic food is grown on surplus land at schools and hospitals, providing local employment, affordable nutrient dense food and community connections. After years of creating and presenting TV outdoor cooking shows my old school friend, Justin Bonello, decided to lead by example and founded the Neighbourhood Farms project.
