The London Marathon JustGiving page closed a few days ago. Many thanks for your support and each individual donation meant a lot to me. I visited the British Dental Conference and Dentistry Show last week at the NEC and am now in email correspondence with several of the companies that I met there regarding purchase of equipment. Also I have had some dental forceps given to me as a result of the interest generated by this fundraising. Many thanks again and I will sign off now.

Day after the event. Morning coffee with fellow club member Mick who ran yesterday. Conversation was mainly all about the brutal heat. Then had massage which was really nice. Lunch out. If you showed your medal you got a your photo taken and a discount voucher. Pilates tonight, and cannot say a big enough thank you to Karen of Northants Pilates who has been raising funds on my behalf at her classes. The elation of yesterday is now tempered by the sad news that a runner had passed away yesterday in the heat. Loss of a kindred spirit.
