Story
My Brother-in-law married his lovely wife, Ebru, in July last year, she was 4 months pregnant and the future looked bright, this was to be their first baby, about 1 month later they received devastating news that she had a rare stage 3b small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the cervix (cervical cancer) she started the gruelling treatment while carrying her son, and at 7 months they delivered him early by Caesarean section, and her treatment continued, chemo and radiation therapy took its toll on them as a new family, but they kept looking to the future.
In March this year she was diagnosed with stage 4b, it had travelled to her brain with multiple tumours. As devastating as this news was and with a premature baby to look after, they have fought hard despite Neil being a self employed taxi driver his earnings have plummeted.
1 year after her original diagnosis, Ebru is in the final stages of her cancer fight, and has been told there is nothing they can do for her now, her brain tumour has started to hemorrhage and this cannot be stopped. everyone involved is devastated beyond belief that a previously healthy 34 year old embarking on her lifelong dream of being a mother to Kaiden, and wife to Neil is coming to an end so terribly.
We are all trying to help in various ways with Neil and Kaiden to help them through this very difficult period in his life, but money is incredibly tight, we are all just about managing but the costs involved in looking after Ebru at this late stage and the aftermath of what is to come is worrying for Neil and baby Kaiden, please help, Every pound will help him to piece his life back together and secure a future for his Son.
