Story

Welcome to my fundraiser. The Cardiac Rehabilitation team are a small but effective team, who without doubt, got me through a dark part of my life following a Heart Attack. With their support and specialist care, I am now in a better place and living life. Enough now for me to complete the Woodhall Spa 10k Road race on 2nd June 2019. I will also running the race in memory of a local lady “Paula” who sadly lost her battle with a heart condition recently.

I am pleased to say that I completed the Woodhall Spa 10k race on Sunday 2nd June 2019 in a time of 1 hr 6 mins! (Chip Time) I am even more please to say that with everyone's generosity on JustGiving and through local form pledges, I have raised just over £650 + Gift Aid. To each and every person that sponsored me, stood by me through my training, supported me on the day, and congratulated me... THANK YOU - You are the best. For me, it was the least I could do to thank every member of the NHS Cardiac team. Without them, I wouldn't be here. x
