On May 12th Nellie Oakshott who is 2 and a half years old was diagnosed with Infantile Metarchromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD) and has been given a life expectancy of five years. This is an extremely rare condition and symptoms vary by type but can include difficulty talking, seizures, difficulty walking, personality changes and behaviour changes.

Nellie’s parents, Megan and Tom, who live in the Upperton area of Eastbourne said their hearts broke when they heard the diagnosis.

This story is so heartbreaking and we wanted to help to raise funds so they can make as many special memories as possible in the time they have together. After speaking with Megan we found out that Nellie adores Peppa Pig, so we have arranged a dream trip for her and her family.

We have arranged for the family, including the grandparents, to go to Peppa Pig world. They will be spending two nights in the Holiday Inn hotel in Southampton. We have organised family passes for Peppa Pig world and on the second day they will have gold VIP tickets. We will also be giving them spending money etc. to make it a really special trip.
