Nell is 6 years old and July 2016 when she was 5 years old she was diagnosed with an high grade Astrocytoma inside her spinal cord.
Up until the biopsy operation at Cardiff Noahs Arc Hospital Nell was a normal active 5 year old child. After the op she was left unable to move her left arm and unable to sit up or walk. Due to no treatment in Cardiff, her care was transferred by her parents request to Great Ormond Street London where they were told her tumour had spread to her lower brain stem and down to her lower spine, cardiff missed this spread, and she would require full brain and spinal radiotherapy as a result of that and was given maximum 6 months to live.

Nell made her 6th birthday in style, she is now receiving weekly physio and proving the doctors wrong, she is doing phenomenal and learning to walk again.

as a result of the absolute catastrophic surgery in Cardiff Nell does have a slight curvature in her spine now but this can be repaired and hopefully will not stop her fight to walk again.

in the midst of all of this Nells family enlisted the charity Kids n Cancer to help them facilitate treatment in America or Europe but unfortunately the family were deceived and the charity have now been closed and they have been arrested as it emerged they spent all of the money raised for Nell and other ill children. The public raided 49k for Nell and Kids n Cancer spent every penny on nights out living an extravagant lifestyle.

The family are now wanting to do many happy things with Nell and create very special memories.
