Between 27th - 31st July, Neon Brass will be walking 75 miles, playing 7 gigs in 5 days to raise funds for Favela Brass. We're a New Orleans-style brass band playing 80's bangers!

Favela Brass is a free music school for underprivileged children from the Pereira da Silva favela and neighbouring public schools in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Founded in 2014 by Yorkshire trumpeter Tom Ashe, the school provides instrumental music classes (wind and percussion) and early childhood music education to 250 students between ages 8 and 18. Favela Brass focuses on the study of both Brazilian and American music, namely traditional samba from Rio and New Orleans’ jazz.
