    Story

    Urgent Aid Required.

Tuning into the media these days; it's easy to sink into a feeling of helplessness (I've been there recently) or even to completely emotionally shut off to to the seemingly endless chaos and destruction prevalent in all the countries of OUR World. Alas, a mere shift in perception enlightens our world, revealing immense environmental, technological, emotional, mental and spiritual advances, shedding light on our positive future. For one moment I would love to draw your attention to something very close to my heart; physically and otherwise. Here is our chance to make a positive difference. No doubt by now you've heard something of the deadly monsoon rains that have been washing India, Nepal, and Bangladesh. It has been estimated that over 50 quadrillion litres of water has falling in the past two weeks displacing 40,000,000 human beings from many of their human rights, including but not limited to drinking water, food, shelter education and aid. Therefore, Urgent Aid is Required.

These countries are being hit by the most extreme floods seen in the region for more than a decade. The huge amount of water being dumped on the region has exacted a deadly toll, with 1,200 people known to have died so far, which is estimated to rise drastically as the rains continue to fall, and hardships such as famine and preventable disease start to run rampant. Therefore, Urgent Aid is Required.

The damage done to the infrastructure and agricultural lands is also expected to impact South Asia long after the flood waters have receded. Some 440,000 hectares (1,000,000 acres) of agricultural land has been washed away, which will severely limit access to hygienic food across all of South Asia for many months to come. Disturbingly, the socio-economic effects of this natural disaster will also be long lasting as to date 18,000 schools have had to be closed. This means over 1,800,000 children are no longer getting a vital education which is necessary for the maturation of these developing countries. Psychologically, it is known that the longer children are kept out of education in these kind of situations, the less likely they are to return at all. Again, contributing to the retardation of socio-economic development and severely impacting the general wellbeing of the society. Therefore, Urgent is Aid Required

The main question I would like you to ask yourself is, what if it was me? How would I react if one day my entire life was scooped up and washed away; with no Aid, hygienic water or food and no one listening to my cries for help. Every major tradition, culture and religion teaches us to treat others as we would like to be treated.

NOW is an opportunity for you and I alike to come together, reach out our hands and provide support for those who need our help. Just as we would appreciate if the coin flipped.

I am connected with several local NGO that desperately need our assistance. I pray that you find a place in your heart to support my efforts to provide aid to those effected. We need to raise all the money we possibly can which will go towards providing medical aid, hygienic food and water and shelter for whoever needs our help.

Even if you only have £1, $1 or 1Rupee to contribute please get involved. If you could sacrifice one thing this week it would make the world of difference to a family going through unfathomable hardship, stress and suffering.

From past experience it is incredibly motivating and heartwarming to see how potent the productivity of humanity when we are in sync. If we all help a little we will all help a lot!

Hi Jesh! Appreciate the hard work you have done for these people. The Nepalese are genuine, loving people who only care about the others around them, just like you. Keep it up.

I admit it. I fact checked your 44,000,000 figure. Sadly, the most recent article I could find was from almost a month ago and even then your number wasn't far off. Thank you for what you're doing.

I'm in contact with some good friends working directly in a severely flood effected area. They are working in the community and in a hospital and need medical supplies urgently. Please help
