Support Monaz Nepalese Handicrafts – A Small Business in Crisis
Dear Gong Community,
We never thought we would have to write this, but we are reaching out in urgent need of support from our fellow sound healers and instrument makers.
Monaz Nepalese Handicrafts has been crafting beautiful sound therapy instruments—gongs, singing bowls, and more—for many years. Sadly, in June 2023, we became victims of fraud.
A dealer, Albert Trinity of Alchemy Sound Healing, convinced us on his own accord to send a large shipment of instruments worth £28,000 GBP (resale value £50,000 GBP) on the promise of quick repayment. He falsely claimed close ties with well-known sound healers and events, particularly Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux, to gain our trust. We have since learned that Albert took payments from his clients, but the money is gone, leaving us with an enormous financial loss that has put our entire business at risk.
Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux is deeply shocked and saddened by this fraud. He fully renounces it and condemns the misuse of his name.
This situation has shaken not just our livelihood, but also our faith in the ethical foundations of our community. We now ask for your support:
1. If you purchased an instrument from Albert, please reach out—not to claim it back, but to help us understand the extent of what happened.
2. If you are willing to contribute, any donation—small or large—would be deeply appreciated to help us recover from this crisis.
3. If you have been affected by similar dealings, please connect with us so we can stand together in ensuring transparency in our community.
Let’s come together as a community to uphold integrity, support those affected, and prevent this from happening to others. Even a small contribution or sharing this message can make a difference.
