Story

St. Mark's Church Pensnett, known affectionately as the cathedral of the Black Country, has served the community for 171 years. It is regarded by the community as "our church", part of Pensnett. As well as welcoming families for weddings and baptisms, and also being there at the end of life, we try to welcome people to share in our services but also to enjoy events such as fayres, festivals,, and last year a pantomime.

We have a close relationship with St. Mark's School, who come in regularly for visits and end of year concerts, and we also support the local foodbank, and support the chaplaincy department at Russells Hall Hospital, particularly the Georgina Ward and those experiencing baby loss. We would like to continue to expand our support to the community but are facing financial difficulties which are threatening the future of the church.

Please give what you can to support our future!
