    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Neville is that kind of guy who sees a spark in someone, no matter how hidden and will move heaven on earth to get this person to bloom and eventually shine.

He will forever give from his bottomless well of knowledge, to nurture any human being regardless of who they are.

He has done this with more people than I can count. All of them people who were for one reason or another in danger of falling through the net.

Neville began specialising in supporting persons with varying physical, social, and learning disabilities. One of his earliest projects was delivering basic literacy and numeracy skills to hospital based persons with mental health conditions and serious learning disabilities. Then he increased his support to include visually impaired, wheelchair bound persons.

From a project Neville called S. A. L. T. (Support And Learning Team) to provide literacy, numeracy, and social skills came several computer based projects to promote computer skills qualifications, in order to aid employment and autonomy.
Neville was giving people wings and was forever finding money for new projects to help the cause... their cause.

Then, shortly after this successful project, Neville suffered the first of his three heart attacks. In his mission to help others, Neville had overexploited his own strength and suffered irreparable damage to his health.

He went back to work for RNIB and created more projects which went national. Neville fell seriously ill again and had to retire from work due to ill health in 2006. I became his full time carer. It took me a decade to nurse him back to life and left me financially desolate and unable to continue covering his high care costs.

I am now asking you for help. Neville needs a new specialised wheelchair to keep him mobile and participating in life.

Please read Neville’s full story on a website that I put up to give rounded information about the cause and why I am asking the public for help.
    Thank you

Hi Everyone, It's the first more summery holiday of the year, which means everyone is out enjoying themselves after a long winter. Our fundraising is still early days and yesterday we had our first real donation after posting £10 as a test to make sure everything is set up properly. Neville and I were at Morrison's when the message came and I had a job to hold the tears back as I was so touched and grateful. This has taken us one step closer to making good things happen. A very big Thank you to you Geoff for your generous donation.

Neville is my Ex-Husband, but he is also my best friend. Unfortunately due to his prolonged illness and high levels of medication Neville is no longer able to live in close proximity with other people. I am still his carer, trying to keep him mobile and in touch with people.
