I've raised £1000 to New Beginnings Cambodia

As Pat and I hurtle towards the end of our visit here we are overcome by the huge change that can be accomplished by the smallest of investment.
Sometimes it is nothing more than an encouraging word or a piece of advice or helping someone to see a new perspective.
Joseph has recently started teaching English.
The building looks more like a prison than a school but that's what some rural state schools look like.
There is no English taught at the school but Joseph volunteers every Saturday and Sunday. He would like to teach more but has to borrow a moto (motorbike) to get there and can't afford to buy one himself.
We passionately believe that education here, especially English changes the future of these children. so we are looking to buy Joseph his moto.
Changing and Hoping for Lives is a small Cambodian NGO (Non Government Organisation) run by the incredible Dara and his two volunteer teachers Sray and Dorn. They offer free English and computer lessons to any child that can get to the school. The school is about 12km outside Siem Reap and is very rural.
We have already moved their water pump, upgraded their computers, provided tem with new teaching materials, imstalled the internet and filled in the swamp. Now we are looking for longer term funding to provide finance for the teachers. Every day they pay their own petrol.
