I've raised £3000 to help a local teenage girl fund a new wheel chair so she can have a little more independence and not relay on others to push her around.

Hi i am the mum of Amy and we are trying to raise funds to buy Amy an electric wheelchair. Amy is a young girl who is 14 but she is in the body of an 8 yr old, due to growth and hormone in balance. Amy has very complex health needs, these are due to complications after birth. Amy needs 24/7 round the clock care due to all her medical needs and personal hygiene needs.
Amy has Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and an Epilepsy Syndrome this is where Amy constantly fits in her sleep. Amy also has Severe Esophagus Reflux, Platelet Blood Disorder, Partially Sighted, gets her feed into her Jejunum (Lower Bowel) as Amy cannot have lots of fluid in her tummy due to the reflux also Regional Pain Syndrome in her feet due to extended surgery to straighten her feet.
This( NEW CHAIR) is something that would enable Amy to have some time on her own, this is something that Amy cannot do as she has an assisted wheelchair, i am sure there are times when Amy would like to take her self away from us parents, needing a little time out.
Thankyou for any help/ donations you can make. Every £ will help massively. Lets help make a young girl happier in a time where she needs it most. Amy and her family have had it tough throughout their lives, a little helping hand from the community will put a huge smile on everyones face.
