Story

In recent weeks Newbridge Primary School in Bath & North East Somerset has been hit by a series of break ins (possibly 8 in our school alone!) alongside other local schools.

Our school has had a significant amount of laptops and audio/visual equipment stolen alongside damage to property. The thief was still operating until very recently (latest break in was Weds 17th May) and the full extent of the losses are still being calculated. The police have now made an arrest so we are hopeful this ordeal is now over.

Whilst we know much of the damage and loss will be covered by insurance, we know not all of it will be. With school budgets being so stretched already, this means that these losses could not have come at a worse time.

Raising some initial funding to help cover these losses in the short term to help the school bounce back and keep doing their awesome work with our children.

In particular the school would really like to replace some of the audio-visual equipment in time for the Year 6 production of Oliver scheduled for 17th and 18th July which is their opportunity to end their Newbridge Journey on a high.

Frustratingly the school purchased new audio/visual equipment in the last year for the benefit of the whole school in singing assemblies, concerts, and school shows like the Nativity and the Year 6 production.

Please donate as much or as little as you can to help get the show back on the road! All donations will help provide a financial buffer to the school to help mitigate these losses for the benefit of all our children.
