Story
Over the course of any given year The Newfoundland Club Welfare organisation resuces and rehomes Newfoundland Dogs that can no longer be cared by their owners.
Many of these dogs come in to our care becasue their owners can either no longer afford to care for them due to medical conditions or they have behavioural issues that the owners can not manage.
The Club takes these dogs in and assess them and then places tem with new homes. Where they have pre existing medical conditions the Club takes on the responsibility of paying for the vets fees for these known conditions for the rest of the dogs life.
The Newfoundland Rescue organisation is a non profit organisation and we rely soley on donations to be able to pay for this.
There are many heart warming stories like Tarzan in the picture that have had their lives transformed by Newfoundland Rescue. We can only continue to do this whilst people continue to donate.
