Story
I'm running the Osterley Park 10k on 17th June to raise money for New Hope Animal Rescue
NHAR currently have no paid staff and are run entirely by volunteers, including the rescue founders, so every penny goes to the animals.
NHAR are in urgent need of expansion in order to continue to meet the massive demands that are made on them to keep saving the lives of the very most vulnerable. We have a sizeable target of £300k, we know this is a big ask but we believe, with your help and support, we can do it.
NHAR rescue and rehabilitate a wide range of animals from dogs and cats, small domestics and birds to horses, pigs and farmed fowl. Their speciality is concentrating on the worst areas of neglect.
Expansion onto a large site would phenomenally increase the number of animals the organisation could save and help set up a long standing sanctuary that could go on working far into the future.
NHAR is an independent, non destruct rescue (no kill) dedicated to helping animals on death row, in emergency situations and those with medical needs that are hard to rehome.
Aiming to help as many animals as possible New Hope will often take the animals that have been turned away elsewhere.
