The North East Warriors are a N.E.W. team in every sense. A mix of able bodied and disabled basketball players, who are embarking on the team's first season in the National League. We are a merry band of diverse backgrounds and life stories, ranging from injured servicemen to fresh faced students, all banded together through the game we love as well as to promote inclusion and the many benefits of wheelchair basketball to the people of the North East. To play in the National League and to get our new club up and running naturally involves costs for training venues, kit, equipment and transport. This is why we are hoping through this JustGiving page we will be able to generate some funds on top of the work we are doing in our community to generate funds. Any donation will be greatly appreciated and will help to provide opportunities for people to enjoy and participate in inclusive sport.
