The SFA Club Licence will allow Newtongrange Star to take a significant step forward in our development as a modern football club. To obtain an SFA Club Licence, the Club must meet a long list of criteria that is aimed at ensuring the Club is run to a strict standard both on and off the park.

Our home ground at New Victoria Park is one of the best grounds at the level of football we play at, but there are still areas requiring improvement that meet all health and safety standards and will allow full access for everyone whether young or old, able or disabled. Newtongrange Star is a club for all.

Once we obtain an SFA Club Licence, Newtongrange Star will have demonstrated the continuous improvement required of a modern football club. We will have shown a commitment to youth development, to becoming an inclusive club and to good goverance. We will have built a safe environment to play and watch football. We will then have access to additional funding that will allow the club to develop further. We will also be able to enter the Scottish Cup and share in the excitement that comes from Scotland's premier cup competition. We will be a club that the people of Newtongrange can be proud to be associated with.
