Story

In June 2022, 3 of the New Fordley vixens Laura R, Danie and Laura B will be taking part in total warrior, battling through 25 obstacles on a 12k stretch to raise money for 2 fantastic causes.

Firstly for New Fordley Juniors, New Fordley isn’t just a football club, it’s the heart of our community bringing individuals together from all walks of life, from football training, summer camps to fun days. Fundraising for the club allows for the provision of things such as much needed equipment, clubhouse maintenance and winter training fees. Without fundraising these things would not be possible.

Secondly for David Brydon. David is the brother of one of the clubs coaches Paul and is Laura B’s brother in law. Last year after returning home from work, David had a fall down the stairs which sadly resulted in a broken neck. This has left David in a wheelchair unable to walk. He has spent many months at James cook hospital in Middlesbrough before moving to a care home in Cramlington until all necessary adaptations can be made to his home. These adaptations will enable David to get home with his partner Ashley and daughter Alexis.

Any donation is greatly appreciated, please help us keep the heart of the community alive, the kids smiling and David Brydon home with his family, where he belongs 💙💛
