Unprecedented seems like an overused word at the moment, but we have collectively been through a life-changing period of time.

I can honestly say I have been humbled by what I have seen and heard , the way nurses and doctors have pushed their own fears aside to go to work and approach every day with positivity and humility .

I have launched this appeal because I want to provide additional support for staff , volunteers ,who have had to face so many very real challenges, and lost there lives to Covid 19 .

I want to be able to provide some much needed gratitude and thanks for all they have done for us.

I am also considering creating a lasting memorial for those who lost their lives,
