The NHS throughout the UK is at breaking point. The government have pledged more money but it's still not enough. Much of it is lost in management costs. Whilst we may want to pressure the government to act now we really don't have time. People are dying in corridors.

I have a radical idea. If you can, make a pledge to the NHS across the UK.

The donations will go to each NHS body in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland based on population.

When giving the money there will be a catch. Money donated must only be used for frontline healthcare, such as, but not only: new equipment, more mental health beds, more Emergency Dept Staff etc but not in managerial or drug company costs.

The money won't go into a pot get lost and have no accountability. I plan to set a website up, if I can get help to, so I can show the areas money has gone to and what it has provided.

Many people may ask why I've done this on a national scale. Well, many of us travel and whilst usually we don't need medical care we can get it. Mental health bed spaces are so low patients are often covered by s different trust.

Plus we can engage so many more people on a national scale.

As a friend said the NHS is like a national religion to us. Let's not only help ourselves but others.
