I've raised £1500 to help fund The Global Natural Health Care Trust to support with research and treatments to cure Lyme Disease

In the summer of 2022 I was walking around a lake, the same walk I would do frequently, when I was biten on my ankle. For two weeks I wasnt concerned about the bite as it wasn’t painful or really that itchy. Until one afternoon I was sat on the sofa one side of my face became paralysed quickly followed by my left arm and left leg paralysed. This is when the doctors had told me that I had been bitten by a tick and Lyme Disease had infected my blood and started to attack my nervous system. I received treatment for this and felt like I had recovered not knowing that Lyme disease is currently not cure-able.
Fast forward to April 2023 it was a normal day I was feeling perfectly fine when all of a sudden I had crushing pressure sensations in my heart that left me unable to breathe or move. The Lyme disease had spread to my heart causing Lyme cartitis mimicking a heart attack.
Unfortunately as Lyme disease is a newer disease there is very limited research and no known cure. It is impossible for the NHS to treat people so I was discharged from the hospital feeling worse to the point it was now life critical. That is when we found Annette who is the founder of The Global Natural Health Care Trust who literally saved my life. When I turned up to her clinic I was very close to Lyme disease taking my life, she immediately put me on heavy medication that stopped the Lyme disease spreading further to my lungs and Brain. The medication that she uses cannot be obtained through the NHS and has only recently been used to the US, people from all over the UK are coming to this charity to have this medication because without they would not survive.
The medication that I am taking is something that I will need to take for the foreseeable as it doesn’t cure the Lyme disease it just stops it from spreading further. Until there is a cure for this deadly disease it will continue to ruin lives.
The charity is extremely understaffed and under resourced and any donation will help towards more research and life saving medication.
