Next year, in the summer of 2017, I am embarking on this once in a lifetime opportunity to help improve the quality of life of 200 school children as part of a continent of Explorer Scouts, where we are travelling to Mubende, Uganda in order to undertake a community building project. However, such an endeavour doesn't come cheaply so I need to raise as much money as possible to fund such a trip. Through this project the continent aims to build kitchen facilities and a water bore hole to supply fresh water for over 200 children at the school, as well as what will most likely be their only hot meal a day- something which most people will take for granted but can truly have a life changing impact on these far less fortunate children. If you could help by donating, no matter how small the amount I would be immensely grateful.
I'm partaking in all sorts of fundraising activities including a 215 mile cycle ride (approx distance to Uganda!). Any support would be appreciated.

About the fundraiser
Mubende, Central Region, Uganda
I'm part of a Mid Sussex scouting contingent who are fundraising to travel to Mubende, Uganda in August 2017 to carry out a community project building kitchen facilities and a bore hole for a local school to provide hot meals and clean drinking water for 200+ children.
