In July 2017 I will be visiting Zambia along with nine others to work with the Zambian NGO Sport in Action Challenge. We will be using sport as the main tool to develop and enhance the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged groups of both adults and children. We will also be going into orphanages and schools where we will help the children with things like reading, writing and their English. Everyday we will be living as part of the Zambian community learning their ways of life and hopefully having a positive impact on them.

While we are there will will be building a facility for the community. This could be anything from a toilet block to a classroom. The money we make will go towards this and have a huge impact on the community and how they live their lives.

In order to take part in this amazing opportunity I must raise £2000. I will be doing this through fundraising events both in and out of school. Alongside this I will be taking an extra case with me filled with things to donate to the community. These can be anything including books, toys, clothes, blankets, stationary, shoes, etc.

Any donations (no matter how small) will be much appreciated.
