I'm sure like me you were touched by the murder of four people during the attack in Westminster on 22nd March. PC Keith Palmer was doing his job, rightly expecting to go home at the end of his tour to his family but instead he was brutally murdered.

I would like to gather funds to give aid to his family, to provide some practical support but also to reflect the huge emotional support his family have throughout the country in the policing family, well beyond Keith's friends in the Metropolitan Police.

I will run Taunton half Marathon on 2nd April in Keith's name and ask you to sponsor me through justgiving. I'm a 54 year old, ex-fat bloke, who ought to know better. This will be hard work for me I assure you!

All funds will go to Keith's family via the Police Federation.
