Each year the Norwich Hebrew Congregation organised many events to promote understanding of many faiths including teaching over 2,000 school children about Judaism. There has been a Jewish Community in East Anglia since the 12 century. Our Communal hall was built in the 1950s and now needs mondernisation to bring it into the 21st century. We want to provide proper access for disabled visitors, efficient heating and lighting but just as importantly a wonderful multi faith environment for our congregation and visitors.
