I've raised £4000 to gain a new minibus for Chesterfield Sea Cadets

I am fundraising on behalf of the Chesterfield Sea Cadet Unit.
The Sea Cadets is a youth charity that offers young people amazing opportunities for personal development, by learning new skills and working in teams. Through naval themes and nautical adventure we offer an environment where young people can find new confidence and inspiration. We are open for children aged 10-18.
As a registered charity we rely mainly on donations and fundraising.
Our minibus has unfortunately had to be taken to the minibus heaven so we are trying to raise funds for a new minibus.
Having our own modern and reliable minibus is essential, as it is the most practicable and cost efficient way of undertaking the transport requirements of the Unit, avoiding having to hire a more expensive alternative.
Some of the training of the Cadets is conducted within Unit, much of it has to be carried out elsewhere, in rural and training areas for the Royal Marines Cadets and on water for the Sea Cadets, with having no option but to travel a number of miles away from the Unit; we undertake our boating at a reservoir some11miles away. The experiences of such activities makes such a difference to the of the young people between 10 to 18 years of age,
To enhance their life skills and to enable them to take part in sea cadet and royal marine Cadet training and activities. Leading to recognised qualifications including, Sailing, Rowing, Navigation, Meteorology, etc, etc.
Can you, your Company or any of your friends and family help us get back on the road?
