Story
I know people have been very generous in Tockwith in raising funds for Milanowék, the village in Poland that we are helping so that they can continue to help refugees from war-torn Ukraine. I‘m cycling from Tockwith to Dijon in France, a distance of about 1000km and I‘m asking people to donate to Just Giving to help support our accommodation centre, Tockwith House. If you feel able to spare a few pounds, I’d be very grateful.

2 years agoI have successfully got back home. During my time in Dijon i met some of the people who are helping Ukranians in France. I heard stories of mothers whose sons and husbands have died in the war. I have heard accounts that moved me greatly. I am proud to have raised a little money for a good cause and I am proud of all those who have supported me. My thanks go to all of you. Your donations allowed me to say " We care, the people who support me care and you are not alone"
