Story
I'll be participating in the Great North Run on September 10th 2017 to raise funds for Mannin Sepsis, who aim to raise awareness of Sepsis here on the Isle of Man and beyond. My mum was directly affected by Sepsis so this is a cause close to my heart.
The purpose of the charity is:
I. to promote and protect the physical and mental health of sufferers of Sepsis, also referred to as blood poisoning or septicaemia, in the Isle of Man, through the provision of support and advice.
II. to support those in the Isle of Man affected either directly or indirectly by Sepsis.
III. to advance the education of the public in the Isle of Man in the subject of Sepsis.

I'm now a local to the Isle of Man and supporting this fantastic charity. I've been aiming to do the Great North Run and, after a setback with illness last year, I'm finally getting around to it this year! My mum was recently affected by Sepsis and so it's a vital issue for me...
