I've raised £7500 to launch Cardiac Awareness mission dedicated to improving health and well being.

CARDIAC CHAMPION (Nick Parkes) I died last year whilst competing in an Open water swimming race and nearly lost my life. I was lucky, i survived as a result of the the event teams collective effort, starting with the kayaker who initially noticed i was in trouble, the efficient resuscitation and defib use, the Air Ambulance team, the NHS and my fitness.
I had suffered a Cardiac Arrest but had no prior Heart warnings or symptoms whatsoever. I underwent heart surgery for two blocked arteries and i am truly grateful for a second chance of life. The scary thing is it could happen to anyone.!
As a result of this traumatic incident i am on a mission and i am dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our local communities. I am seeking your help to fund the launch of a comprehensive Cardiac Awareness Mission aimed at educating and empowering individuals to take proactive steps towards heart health. This mission will focus on raising awareness about cardiovascular diseases, promoting healthy lifestyles, and information for early detection and prevention.
Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are the leading cause of death globally, and our local communities are not immune to this trend. Many individuals lack the necessary knowledge and resources to manage their heart health effectively. By increasing awareness and providing education, we can significantly reduce the incidence of CVDs and improve the overall health of our community.
The Cardiac Awareness Mission is a vital initiative that will have a lasting impact on the health of our local businesses and communities. i am confident that with your support, we can make a significant difference in the fight against cardiovascular diseases and assist to reduce the loss of life due to individuals being confident to do CPR and use a Defibrillator.
Can you help support this important mission.
