One of my closest friends was given heart breaking news last year that their beutiful boy ‘Sonny Nelson’ was diagnosed with a rare condition called ALD. I never ever heard of this condition and had no idea how agressive the condition is. Im not a runner, im not fit at all but have just signed up to the Fulham and Putney half marathon on 14th April 2019, a week before a Charity night that the Nelsons have also arranged to help raise awareness.

Please take time to read about ALD, we want to raise awareness as so many people like me have never heard about it. Sonny Nelson is very close to me and my family and its been heartbreaking to witness him suffer with the rare condition and the impact it has had on he's lovely family.
