Youth service provision across the country is diminishing fast and I want to support the work I and other people in my community do to provide safe spaces for young people to be themselves, journey together, experience new things and learn life skills.

Ashington Youth Club exists to offer excellent youth provision to the young people in the area through celebrating their successes, supporting them through tough times, engaging them in real-life conversations and modelling appropriate, healthy adult behaviour.

We are only a small team of mostly volunteers who give so much already and we are regularly only one sick person away from having to shut the club. The building is in a very poor state and needs lots of structural and aesthetic work done.

The money raised will go towards themed nights for the young people, subsidising their involvement in the Sussex Youth Achievement Awards and organising trips.
